"the words which I had often heard my father speak...." Enos 1:3‏

Earlier this week I spoke with Mom and she mentioned how Grant and Ellory had just received father's blessings as Grant was starting pre-school. What a wonderful family they have!

I hope that when you and your siblings think about the words you have "often" heard me speak, they would be "concerning eternal life, and the joy of the saints" (Enos 1:3)

Enos' father Jacob said: "Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves—to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life." (2 Ne. 10:23)

"O then, my beloved brethren, repent ye, and enter in at the strait gate, and continue in the way which is narrow, until ye shall obtain eternal life." (Jacob 6:11)

"And, if you keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life, which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God." (D & C 14:7)
